JD Vance slams ‘s***’ pro-Ukrainian protestors that he says left daughter ‘anxious and scared’ as demonstrators reject claims

JD Vance says the conversation with the protestors was ‘mostly respectful’

Vice President JD Vance has slammed a group of pro-Ukrainian protestors who he claims left his three-year-old daughter ‘anxious and scared’.

Relations between the US and Ukraine have been making headlines a lot recently, especially since the tense conversation between Trump, Vance, and Zelenskyy at the White House in the hope of discussing a peace deal that would see the end of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.

American VP Vance was also part of the discussion, and he didn’t hesitate to join in with some pretty heated words towards Zelenskyy.

Vance insisted that Zelenskyy was treating both Trump and the US with disrespect and persistently called on the Ukrainian to ‘thank’ the president.

“I think it’s disrespectful for you to come into the Oval Office to try to litigate this in front of the American media…You should be thanking the president for trying to bring an end to this conflict,” the vice-president added.

Vance has since spoken out about the infamous Oval Office moment, telling Fox News host Sean Hannity: “I do think that there was just a certain sense of — there was a lack of respect. There was a certain sense of entitlement.”

Well, now, Vance has taken to Twitter to detail an interaction he had with a group of pro-Ukrainian protestors recently.

Vance wrote: “Today while walking my 3 year old daughter a group of ‘Slava Ukraini’ protesters followed us around and shouted as my daughter grew increasingly anxious and scared.

“I decided to speak with the protesters in the hopes that I could trade a few minutes of conversation for them leaving my toddler alone. (Nearly all of them agreed.)

“It was a mostly respectful conversation, but if you’re chasing a 3-year-old as part of a political protest, you’re a s*** person.”

Vance has previously claimed to Fox News he had hoped to have had the now-infamous conversation with Zelenskyy in private, but that came to no avail.

He continued: “The president was like, ‘nope, actually, I don’t want to have it in private anymore. I want to have this actual conversation in public for the American people to see’.

“The president has set a very clear goal for his administration. He wants the killing to stop.

“And I think that it’s very important that President Zelensky and of course, President Putin, too, they’ve both got to come to the negotiating table. And that’s ultimately where things broke apart.

“I really don’t care what President Zelensky says about me or anybody else. But he showed a clear unwillingness to engage in the peace process that President Trump has said is the policy of the American people and of their president.”
